They're at it again

If you missed my previous post in which I link to a video of William Tapley, A.K.A. the Third Eagle of the Apocalypse, A.K.A. the co-prophet of the end times, tells us that WWIII (and the start of the tribulation) will start no later than November 29th, 2010, you can see it here.  Yet, never fear, because he was obviously wrong.

But, in case you were wondering, the real date of the rapture is May 21, 2011, followed by the destruction of the world on October 21st 2011 (wow, that doesn't leave much time for a seven year tribulation, but I guess that means that these prophets are post-tribulation rapture folk and that we have been enduring the tribulation now since October 21st 2004, just before George W. Bush was voted into office for the second time).

  1. On the issue of setting dates, the passages I quoted below, teach that only the Father knows the "day" and "hour" of the second coming of His Son. But there will be things happening that we are to be looking for and that will warn us the that the day of His coming is near. When we see these things happening, we should be even more alert, awake, watching, and waiting for His coming as we are always to be anyway.

Any one setting dates, is not a true phophet of God; they are contradicting Scripture. But also anyone saying that Christ's second coming will be immanent with no warning signs that His coming is near is also not a correct teaching.
I am just an interested believer in Jesus Christ that just happened to stumble onto your web site and just adding my 2 cents for what it is worth.
I am "pro" rapture just watching, waiting and praying for Him to come.

    KJV:
Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no [man], no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Matthew 24:37 But as the days of Noe [were], so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Matthew 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
Matthew 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Matthew 24:40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Matthew 24:41 Two [women shall be] grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Matthew 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
Matthew 24:43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
Matthew 24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

2 Thessalonians 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and [by] our gathering together unto him,
2 Thessalonians 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
    2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2 Thessalonians 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
2 Thessalonians 2:5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

  2. To an extent, I agree with the previous comment. Personally I find all the people who claim to know the exact date of Christ's second coming quite entertaining. While the Third Eagle's teachings are definitely not accurate or logical, I do understand his purpose in trying to identify the date of the rapture. People today like to know exactly what is going to happen with their lives and when it is going to occur. It is human nature to wonder when the end of life as we know it will take place. Now some people, like our friend The Third Eagle, take this curiosity to a whole new level of crazy and come of with weird conspiracy theories. Are people like this true prophets of God? No, but I think their desire to find an explanation to something that is so mysterious is not so unreasonable.
